  • Read "Lessons in Letter Writing We May Learn from Paul". "As workers in the cause of God we  can learn much from the apostle Paul in the art of letter writing. "[Mark carefully these closing words of mine]," he writes. "See with what large letters I am writing them with my own hand" (Gal. 6:11, Amplified)."
  • Visit "Chronic Joy: #PenToPaper A Ministry of Letter Writing." "Letter writing is a reminder to someone that they are thought of, cared about, and prayed for. It also brings a sweet touch of encouragement. Our words can be a glimmer of hope to someone who is hurting."

  • "Dear Jesus,
Thank you for all of the wonderful friends who have been an encouragement to me in my faith. Please give me the courage to encourage others in the same way, intentionally seeking and making the most of the opportunities I’ve been given. Help me to shine Your light and stand firm in challenging circumstances as I point to You as the reason for the hope that I have. In Your Mighty Name, Amen." • READY: Now that you have studied Biblically, trained Spiritually, examined your heart, and prayed over this challenge, you are ready to undertake encouraging others. You equipped yourself Spiritually, mentally, and physically, so get ready to go girl! This is a tough challenge! If you don't feel ready, trust that God has set you up to succeed!
  • SET: When God sent Moses with a message, Moses knew it may not be received or go well for him, to the point that in Exodus 4, Moses complained, "I am slow of speech and tongue” and said to the Lord, "Please send someone else". But Moses did go! Moses was later described as being "powerful in speech and action" (Acts 7:22). When it comes to encouraging others, you may think, "Please send someone else" but God is calling you and will overcome your fears and faults to work through you. When we trust God, our inadequacy becomes our legacy.
