  • “I will exalt You, my God the King;  I will praise Your Name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise You and extol Your Name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom." Psalm 145:1-3
  • "I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His Name together." Psalm 34:1-3
  • "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light." 1 Peter 2:9
  • "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess His Name." Hebrews 13:15

  • Look at "Hymnary" a comprehensive index of Hymns and Hymnals.
  • Look at "All Songs from the Getty Music Collection" with song samples, song versions, song lyrics, and song information.
  • Read "Praise to God Through Jesus" from Ligonier.org. "Hebrews 13:15 describes another sacrifice that we are to offer to the Lord—the 'sacrifice of praise.' Moreover, we are to offer this sacrifice through Jesus, as today’s passage also explains. Worship of God in Christ is the natural result of our redemption by Him."
  • See "What Does “Coram Deo” Mean?" from Ligonier.org.

7 WAYS (IN HEBREW) TO PRAISE GOD

  • "Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? —unless indeed you fail to meet the test!" 2 Corinthians 13:5.
  • "Search me, God, and know my heart;  test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139:23-24.
  • Examine your heart when it comes to praising continually for motives, concerns, readiness, and equipment.
  • Specific to this challenge, praise is an overflow of the love and gratitude we have in our hearts for God our Father, for Jesus our Savior. God created us all so uniquely that it stands to reason that we praise Him in our unique ways. Of course, our expressions of praise must be Biblical but the way we express praise is individually Spirit-led. Just remember that, "God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:24.

  • Abba Father, "I shout with joy to You Lord of all the earth! I worship You Lord with gladness, I come before You, singing with joy. I acknowledge that You Lord are God! You made us, and we are Yours. We are Your people, the sheep of Your pasture. Enter Your gates with thanksgiving; go into Your courts with praise. Give thanks to You and praise Your Name. For You Lord are good. Your unfailing love continues forever, and Your faithfulness continues to each generation." Psalm 100, personalized. "I will praise You. Lord at all times. I will constantly speak Your praises. I will boast only in You Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of Your greatness; let us exalt Your Name together. I prayed to You Lord, and You answered me. You freed me from all my fears." Psalm 34:1-4. personalized. "Praise You, Lord! I will thank You, Lord with all my heart... How amazing are Your deeds Lord! All who delight in You should ponder them. Everything You do reveals Your glory and majesty. Your righteousness never fails. You cause us to remember Your wonderful works. How gracious and merciful are You, my Lord!" Psalm 111:1-4, personalized. (From Raise Your Sword Prayers of Praise)

  • READY: Now that you have studied Biblically, trained Spiritually, examined your heart, and prayed over this challenge, you are ready to undertake praising continually. You equipped yourself Spiritually, mentally, and physically, so get ready to go girl! This is a tough challenge! If you don't feel ready, trust that God has set you up to succeed!
  • SET: When God sent Moses with a message, Moses knew it may not be received or go well for him, to the point that in Exodus 4, Moses complained, "I am slow of speech and tongue” and said to the Lord, "Please send someone else". But Moses did go! Moses was later described as being "powerful in speech and action" (Acts 7:22). When it comes to praising God continually, you may think, "Please send someone else" or "It's so awkward and uncomfortable" but God is calling you and will overcome your fears and faults to work through you. When we trust God, our inadequacy becomes our legacy.
